Harris Gaffin has been an internationally syndicated feature story, photo- and video-journalist since the 1970s.
He has lived and worked all over the world based in Stockholm, Tokyo, Paris, and Los Angeles. He is fluent in French and speaks Japanese. At one time or another, his 500+ bylines have been published by virtually every major newspaper and magazine in the world. He's authored three books and produced documentaries for satellite cable on China, Japan, and the USA.
Besides working for publications and production houses, Gaffin enjoys working with political candidates, chefs, race car drivers, other types of sole proprietors and small businesses.
Familiar with virtually all 50 states, Gaffin is currently producing a lecture series on the history of the American immigration experience inspired by the James Truslow Adam's classic book, The Epic of America."
An active member of Toastmasters, Gaffin is a trained public speaker and offers workshops on making better presentations as well as online courses on photography and short movie making.
He is an avid reader and believes that the only thing new in this world is the history you don't know.
