How To Become A Poll Worker
If you have already worked an election for York County, you’ll need to take refresher training.
1. Online + Hands-on Training
Most of your training can be done online and at your own pace. You will get thorough training with an assessment at the end of the course.
After signing up for the class, you will receive an email within 24-48 hours directing you to a website with a username and password. You then begin your online training.
After passing the assessment, you will attend an in-person hands-on training on working with the voting system.
The class is located at the Heckle Complex, 1070 Heckle Blvd. Building 104 in the Large Conference Room.

Attendance is required for both classes with an assessment at the end of the second class.
