VALUES

The York County Republican Party is a non-profit political organization open to all. Our mission is to help inform our constituents and keep them abreast of local party events.

​We hold monthly meetings where we have guest speakers which include government agency officials, political candidates, addressing issues of interest to our members.

Our Party members today in general lean "conservative." Ironically these values were once considered bi-partisan and in fact were virtually the same as the Democratic Party platform circa 2008 before they took a hard left turn.

A few key values:

• The Constitution should be understood to mean what it says it means and not to be messed with by activist judges who take the law into their own hands.
• We strongly support our citizens Bill of Rights, going strong for over 250 years.
• We respect and appreciated religion as a center for perpetuating our values.
• We value education and our county has invested heavily in our school system which includes tutoring for students who require extra help.
• We highly support the notion that politicians should be citizens first and budgets were meant to be balanced.
• We are pro-active about being pro-life.
• We make no excuses for our support and appreciation of our county, state, and country.
  
• We support America being the #1 country in the world for naturalizing citizens, over one million a year - legally welcomed each year, not to be confused with illegal. 

And finally, we are wide open to new comers who want to work, live their life in peace, and be part of this thriving community.
